$25,000 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
FOR HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS

Hello Aretha

Since 1984, Horatio Alger Association has awarded over $235 million in scholarships to more than 35,000 deserving students. Year after year we hear that it is the counselors who are instrumental in helping students learn about the opportunities that the Horatio Alger Association provides. We are again looking for talented and deserving students in your school who are strong candidates to attend college, but who need financial AND advising support to reach that goal.

As you may know, we transitioned last year to
awarding high school juniors instead of seniors. With this exciting change comes the ability to provide more resources to our Scholars such as college fit & match advising, as well as, financial aid counseling. It also comes with the challenge of informing juniors encouraging them to apply. We look to you, the expert on identifying incredible Horatio Alger Scholars. Please help us find these deserving students. If they need any assistance with completing their applications, please refer them to our help line: 844-422-4200.

In 2023, the Association will award
105 National Scholarships at $25,000 each,
and more than 500 State Scholarships at $10,000 each.

The deadline to submit a
completed application is March 15th, 2023.
